Vlogging and the Presidential Race 2008

I just read this blog about vlogs that are sure to impact the 2008 presidental election. This blog lead me to the New York Times site that lists all the 2008 candiates and links to their websites, blogs and other multimedia. Who would have thought in the last election of 2004 how much impact and influence the internet and web 2.0 applications would have for the Presidential Election in 2008. Now all presidential candiates have websites, blogs and some dare to have vlogs. Here is John Edwards vlog to see how the candiates are using the web to get their message across. On Hillary Clinton site there is a contest to make a 30 second video that is being sponsered by YouTube and CNN that will be seen during her July23rd debate. If this is going on in the 2008 election I wonder what we will see in 2012 election.

Robin,
Blogs and Vlogs are the "in" things to do to get your point of view heard. Everyone from these Presidential Candidates to the neighbor is b(v)logging about something. I was in a doctors ofice and looking at a Better Homes and Gardens magazine and it had an article about blogging. I would never had expected to see that topic in that kind of magazine, but it was there.
And you are right, what new technology will be out in 2012 that will have the Presidential hopefuls getting their message across.

Hi Margie,

Whatever technology is out in 2012 Iknow you will be a user of it. Speaking of vlogs I just saw that Valerie Bertanelli has a vlog about losing weight with Jenny Craig. I wish I could get inspired with her but with all this work to do food is my friend.

See you on Saturday.

Food is my friend, too. Our first semester, I worked so many hours that I literally did not eat real dinners most nights. I lost weight and went down to about 93 pounds. Being 4'11," that's an ok weight for me. After that , I went back on food. I've gained everything back plus a few. I don't often weigh myself anymore. Then again, who has time?

But about the technology, media is key, especially for young people. (I don't think I fit into that category after my most recent birthday.) But seriously, our Internet generation is completely visual.

Vlogs Rocks !
I just love to hear real life experiences coming from the horses mouth because it makes me know that what is being said is for real.
So I visited Hillary's page and even though I promised myself to keep away from from politics , I must admit this one is the best. In a few minutes i was taken through her entire life .I saw real details of her work throughout her life. In this way I can make a good decision if I would vote for her.
Thanks to the invention of Vlogs , blogs and Syracuse UNiversity.
